Lost the old thread but here are some update pics. All I need to do now is hang it, clean and paint it, install controlls and test fly it. Should be done by B-Day's. My brakes worked out great better than I expected.

Looks great Jake, fine work as always.
Are you going to paint it? or leave it naked?
The only thing that concerns me is the angle on the nosewheel.
Does it have any trail angle? If not it might shimmy badly, just a point.

All these rotorcraft hatching out, very cool!!!
See ya at Bensen Days....

Hey Scott,

Yes I have plenty of castor in the strut plus an anti shimmy device. Built just like Junk n Stuff.
I will paint it white or FLAT BLACK HMmm you choose.

Looks good Jake!

I look forward to having a closer look at Bensen Days.

Your virtuosity comes through in the details.

I hope to send time learning from you too.

Are you going to give some classes?

I enjoyed the last one and learned a lot about attitude.

Thank you, Vance

In my opinion, Jake is great at everything he does.

I was inspired by his perspective and generosity.

I enjoyed watching him struggle with what level to describe things on.

He was factually accurate on everything he touched on that I knew anything about.

His knowledge of process seemed boundless.

It was time well spent and I am proud to know him.

His understated competence is a lot like yours Scott.

I find both of you an inspiration.

Thank you, Vance

I wonder what holds up the roof on Jake’s shed. Can’t see any sign of a truss or horizontal member that ties the walls together.

Jake

Thanks for the compliment Vance,

Me too Jake, I want to see this thing up close to check out the details.
Just one more thing, how are you going to keep the bees off?

Jake ,I cannot believe the beauty of that gyro, you are a special person. I am going to stop by for a tig welding lesson on my new miller 200 DX I know that I am out of my class but just having fun. See you at Bensen Days.

Check out my avatar , 532 power two 5 gallon gas cans to hold the fuel ,also served as the seat for the passenger , handled really well till the crank snapped. oh,oh,

Thanks everyone. I would have gotten done sooner except time is hard to find between goofin off and not doing anything!!
