Hi Mike
Very wise observation!

Tim, since you've announced that a CFI meeting will be held then I'd suggest adding an evening schedule that shows any structured gatherings such as that meeting. You've got the hanger flying covered!

I suspect that scheduling the CFI meeting for the same day and time as last year would work. The CFIs were polled last year to determine the best time for them and that slot was picked so they would be done flying for the day and have some time to regroup for the meeting.

I feel pretty certain that a request for an Advisory Council meeting is going to be made shortly. But I have no idea whether it will be in the evening, or in the morning at the same time the Life Members meeting was previously scheduled.

Now that D. Barker has voluteered to represent the board and moderate a chapters rep meeting then I suggest that Doug be allowed to select a day/time and get it on the schedule. I also support his thoughts about getting a notice about the reps meeting in the earliest PRA Ezine possible.

Dean, I have not announced a CFI meeting.

What I have done is sent out an email to CFIs to see what interest there is.

So far no one has stepped forward to manage the meeting.

I have heard nothing so far.

I think this is on the current schedule.

The newest schedule DRAFT should be available on the PRA facebook page tomorrow.

Once the final schedule is available, it will be on the pra web page.

Whoops, my error! I thought it was an announcement of the meeting. There is a volunteer, or two, that is prepared to moderate the meeting so that shouldn't hold up the scheduling.

No problem!

I have been getting some responses back, so that is good!

I have not heard of any volunteers prepared to moderate the meeting. Are you holding out on me Dean?

No, the most current schedule is on FACEBOOK. FB allows larger documents then the forum and they are easyer to find as you don't have to track down a thread.

I will update the documents here but right now I only have my iPad and I can't upload from my iPad.

For those with FB accounts go here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/115014588118/files/

Their meetings have been well attended, as you know, and get larger each year so even though the responses may be slow, I suspect there will be significant number of CFIs attending.

Yes! I do my best work under the cover of darkness but will reveal all in good time unless the moderator(s) do it for me.

Tim, I believe I have a commitment for a CFI meeting moderator but if push comes to shove then I'll do it again like I have the past three years. I believe this meeting has value and rather than see it not happen for lack of a moderator, I'll be the fall back guy.

Please schedule it for Thursday 8/2/12 at 8:00 p.m. in the hanger classroom. This is the day and time that the CFIs said they preferred to have it in the past. And they out grew the office classroom so moved to the hanger classroom last year.

Great!

Brent Drake can't make Thursday but if that date is good for everyone else, than that is ok, I guess.

Need to know soon.

Good timing, and question, Tim!

This is to inform the PRA community that as of 6/12/12, the former PRA Life Member group, now identified as the Advisory Council in the latest by-laws, has given me permission to act as their spokesman until which time leadership has been established.

So, as spokesman I'm requesting that a Mentone 2012 meeting slot be identified for a meeting of the Advisory Council. If the 5 - 6:00 p.m. Friday slot is still available then let us have that one, please.

Done!

I will update the schedule at once and notify the PRA Board.

I am confused. When I go to the links above and pull up the convention schedule it doesn't show any of the meetings just things like when dinner starts.???
