Thanks everyone!! It's going to be a while before I can fly again, so I'm slowly floating down off cloud nine. I will probably need to go back to Quebec for some refresher training when my MTO arrives.

I hold a Gyroplane Pilot Permit. It has it's own category here in Canada. It's not a license, though there are people here trying to change that. I will probably look at doing the Australian conversion at some point in the future.

My first flight ever (in a Gyro) was in a Magni M24 in Cape Town (as a passenger). 2 hours around the Cape on a gorgeous sunny day! After that, I flew almost every day while I was in Johannesburg, in my friend's Magni M16 tandem trainer. I had my first lesson in this machine. I returned to Canada and began official flight training on the Calidus, but switched to the MTO Sport when it became available. I'm rated to fly the MTO Sport only at this stage, but I'm planning to get rated on the Calidus next time I'm in Quebec.

I struggle to put IKEA furniture together, so building a plane is completely beyond my scope of expertise. I'm planning to buy an MTO Sport, which thankfully comes fully assembled.

Yes that's me in my avatar. I'm a pediatric ICU nurse. I fly to rural areas to pick up sick children that require specialized care in the big smoke. It's not as glamorous as it sounds, but I enjoy it.

Hey Chris! Sorry, I haven't been logging in to the forums much lately. I will try to log in more often.

Thank you and yes, I've soloed the MTO Sport. I trained on this machine. I passed my flight test in May. Next step is to buy a gyro! I'm still working on that, so wish me luck!

Tonia, I wished I knew how to break down those quotes like you did when you answered my questions !

When you say YOU fly to rural areas........are you the pilot ?

Chris,

Copy and paste the quote tags with the persons name and add or subract the content. Do this with each part of the quote to break it up.

When I do it, I select "quote" from their post and use the original quote tags (they are in the beginning and the end in the brackets) and copy and paste the tags where i want them.

I hope this helps you. try it!

Jon

Here is an example without the first and last brackets

Like Master Roda said! I just copy and paste the stuff in the brackets, and type what I want in between.

I'm a Registered Nurse, so I sit in the back of the plane with the patient. I had aspirations of learning to fly fixed wing so I could become a pilot on the Air Ambulance....but that was BEFORE I discovered Gyro's!!
