Hey Stan! I must say, every time I see my gyroplane (or any gyroplane as I enter the gate at KIGQ for that matter) I can't help but get all goofy like a kid in a candy store. Hell, I have a sh*t eatin grin on my face right now just thinking about rotor blades chirping when loaded up !! Sorry I missed ya at the Lansing Fly-in, it's hard to get talk time with you when you come out, as everybody is hounding you for a hot dog (aka "helidog"). But there will be more gatherings at Chapter 18 this summer, and I hope you can make it out again!! ~K

Hi Tim, Thanks! I'm using a Sony Handycam HDR-TG1 4MP with 10x optical zoom. It's a nice little unit, about the size of a cigarette pack ... large touch screen display, and a remote switch that I have attached near my throttle quadrant.

I took a break from making any vid's for a while, my old system was just too painfully slow during the editing process. But earlier this year I set up a nice video editing system and very happy with it. I started with a gaming computer with Intel 3.4GHz i7 2600K Processor, 16GB DDR3 1333mhz, 1TB SATAII, Intel HD Graphics Card etc. That was a nice foundation for working with HD content, but the key was OS and software to match. So I went with 64-bit Windows 7 OS and native 64-bit editing software, HOLY CARP, IT ROCKS!! The software I'm now using is CyberLink Power Director 9 Ultra 64. I'm able to do full HD real-time editing with transitions/effects and such, although I can get it to lock-up here and there I'm blown away on the performance.

PS: Did I read somewhere that you were "blacklisted from Youtube"?? If so, was it for music copyright infringement in yer vid's? Or maybe inappropriate content? LOL. ~K
