The Rotax manual for the 582 says you can switch between mogas and 100LL avgas without ill effects.
It seems to me that something else is going on here. Did you flush the tank of mogas before putting in the avgas? Maybe the residual mogas and attendant alcohol and water went to the bottom of the tank? Both my brother and I run 100LL 100% of the time. Reasons are alcohol-free and availability.

Yes, I flushed it completely and I have never put any gas with alchohol in my engine. We have a few places here to get clear mogas.Maybe I just got a bad batch of 100LL.
