Well. The state of Colorado in their infinite wisdom of emmison controls have struck again. As they have classed my xterra as a car, and not a truck even though I have a TRK plate, lowered my emissions target to a point where the inspectors at the emmisions place know me by name and keep telling me that they haven't seen one of these pass in a long while. Nox limit is 2.000 and I can't get mine under 2.020. For grins there were 5 other xterras waiting with me this morning, and not one of them passed. jeeps are also having a big problem passing as well. We are starting a little crew out at the testing station as it seems like we are all in the same boat. The sad thing is that you can get a waiver but you have to spend around 800 dollars in repairs, fail twice, pay an additional fee then you might get a waiver :roll eyes:
Lucky that I have the ability to register it up in Wyoming (no emmisions test) Would rather give the state I live in the cash, if the greenies get their way there will be no SUVs on the road in a few years. That's my rant for the day grrrr.

If the greenies had their way do ya think that there would be any two-cycle engines like those that propel a large number of gyros around?
In my own opinion, there are extreme factions within their ranks that would be happy with all of us wearing fig leaves and picking berries from bushes.
