Exclamation RAF roll CG

Already wrote this once, built an RAF, flies great, add a passenger, cabin tilts to the right, take out some roll, all the way to the end, still flies with the cabin tilted to the right. Change the factory settings of the rotorhead to allow more left deflection and add a little to the right. Passenger said it helped a little. Now, if I carry a 230 lb passenger, the first on was only 160 and I am 185, what can I do to keep the cabin level or close, take up more on that left trim spring? Take up another thread on the left push/pull tube on the head. I know there are a lot of raf builders out there that might have some suggestions. This ship still flies well, hands off, just a little fine tuning. Thanks, John

Adjust the linkage on your trim springs first, move one link up or down on one side, see what it does then adjust from there. Leave the rotor head alone. Just my opinion.

Well thanks Mike,
I've been playing with this left spring a lot, too much in either direction makes it either too loose or too tight, which inpeads adding a right cyclic input (if it's too loose). I'm looking forward to picking up a heavy passenger and would just like the cabin a little move lever during flight. Any other takers out there?

Try some stronger springs. I had to do that in order to have enough compensation with even a 180 pound passenger.

Spent several hours trying different link settings before trying some tighter springs. One side effect of the stronger spring is that I don't have as wide a cruise control spread now.

I can take up a couple more links before I put the spring in the thimble for the chain. I am going to increase the load in small increments and just see how it flies. If anyone has any further suggestions, I'm all ears. John
