It looks to me like the Trixy uses a unique "morotcycle type - handlebar control system". I tried to find more details about it on their web site but couldn't find pictures or information. But it is really interesting. They certainly aren't just copying what everyone else is doing for a design. I hope to see and learn more about it soon.

Years ago a friend bought a never flown Bensen MAC. The gyro featured two things I really liked. It had the standard Bensen "Rubber Band" webbed seat.
It was modified by an addition.
It looked like the guy took a seat frame and cut it in two, then the builder bolted one end of the 90 degree tube to near the front of the seat bottom frame and the other end to the seat back frame, on each side. The result were two "Armrests" that gave you a very secure and comfortable feeling.

But, the most amazing, simple mod was the addition of a horizontal bar to the top of the Bensen joystick (similar in feel to the old overhead stick, just not backward functioning)

The old Bensen's featured a twist grip throttle, that in this case, functioned just like a motorcycle handle bar throttle.

I never felt a more comfortable and natural feeling gyro to fly.

Maybe Trixie is on to something?
