Default A little more info

I called up the seller, who is also the original builder. His name is Vern. According to Mike Boyette in another thread, he is a long time welder for Ernie at RFD. He built this one 100% from plans, including building the tail. i.e. - No kit parts from RFD. You can see in the picture that the front landing gear is slightly different design than RFD, without the curved/bent steel.

A guy bought it, got training from Davey Seace, and was flying/practicing for some hours but ended up flapping the blades. Now, Vern is selling it for him. He said that they went through the rotor-head after the blade flap.

Vern does not have a computer/Internet at home, so will not have a super easy time producing more pictures by himself.

I think it will likely make a good machine for someone.
