David Morris has an equally impressive Xenon. I have looked at this beauty for a few years now. I commented to Dave a few days ago about how deep blue that color was. It was like its an inch deep.....what a georgous machine. The interior is absolutely flawless and this gyro is just another display of high end craftsmanship. I just shake my head when looking at it like I did Dougs.

David gave me a ride to Rochester in this machine during the convention.

I was amazed at the workmanship, design and visibility!

I would LOVE to have a machine like this.

.

I was so hoping to get a ride in this machine, but things just did not come together, probably because i was busy directing the Helicopter op's

that is one nice machine and Dave is a nice guy to chat with.

that Said Dave did offer me a ride, but like i said we just never connected to make it happen.

I did love watching it fly.

I was as busy as a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs at Mentone.

What kind of instruments Dave's Xenon has?

The only think I don't like on the one I am training in,
are b/w digital instruments.

Human perception is much faster in absorbing analogue (steam gauges),
with green, white, yellow and red arches, than digital (numeric) information.

Awesome David!

Awesome David!

I was privileged to have you take me up for a flight and it was wonderful. So much room and I was amazed at how balanced it was.
No kidding, folks... for a minute he just leaned back in his seat, let go of the cyclic and was flying with the rudder pedals only. So fun!
Thanks again, David.

Ditto!

Ditto!

That's what I've said from the beginning ... You can not beat the Xenon. it is the perfect gyro when it comes to design, comfort and flight characteristics.

But there is NOHING that will compare to the Xenon that Dr. Bill Clem is building and modifying. NOTHING!

This is not to throw stones at the current models ... But what Dr. Clem is doing is nothing short of amazing. Perhaps it should be featured in an article for the PRA magazine?

The fit and finish is spectacular -- a kin to a handcrafted luxury automobile and the technological advances will make your head spin!

I hope he shows it at some PRA events. It is the best gyro I have ever seen anywhere!

What's funny about all of this is that Raphael heard about the changes and requested that Bill NOT call it a Xenon. So Bill changed the name to "Argus".

Can't really blame Raphael, calling it a Xenon would've caused a lot of expectations that the factory can not deliver due to practical cost concerns.

Listen, the job the factory does is awesome but it can not be compared to the obsessive-compulsive nature of Dr. Clem's "madness".

Xenon For Sale!

Well very soon! I intend to list my Xenon on Barnstormers within the next week or so. I still have some details to work out and have not decided on my final asking price yet. This is a great gyro and I will hate to see it go.

I am not going anywhere nor am I getting our of gyros. On the contrary!
Will share more when I can.

I am not ready to post a price yet but will be happy to talk to anyone that may have a serious interest.

The best way to contact me for details is outside the forum via e-mail at [email protected] or my cell phone at 606-271-2770.

I love blue, and a Xenon in blue? Yeah buddy! It sure is a beaut!

I was highly impressed by my cross country ride.

Some photos...

The visibility is so good it is nearly like an open cockpit.

Dynon 180, Garmin 496, XCOM NAV, Transponder, Heated Leather Seats, etc.

That's how it should look like. :)

I assume, the the "steam gauge" in the middle is the rotor tach?

I hope next week I will continue my training in another Xenon,
(SP-XENF is sold), with the glass cockpit like yours.

You really should be able to get all the flight parameters
at one glimpse of an eye.

David,

What happened?
Why are you selling?
You liked this machine so much!!!

:(

Paul

Now, which gyro is it that you might like better ? That SxS magni ?

That new one from the Calidus people (I just can't remember the name of it ) ?

BTW they should change those names. I thought Xenon ( zenon ? ) was weird at first , but it grew on me.

Maybe I'll hit the lottery tonight !

Damn, not again ! I hate when that happens !

Bump..........////////??????
