I'm in Sacramento. I was wondering if there may be anyone around the area with any gyro activity? I have a old 503 AirCommand gyro with me. It hasen't flown in 15 Years. Was goig to try to get it running. Harry

Hi Harry

Here is a link to 1054 aircraft with registered owners giving a Sacramento CA address - not perfect but a start - if you scroll through it you might spot some Types you recognise as gyros ( Billy Bob Dominator ) although some gyros might be registered as types "Billy Bob Whizzer 7" by those homebuilders who don't want to use the kit name for some reason.

There's a SparrowHawk flying out of Livermore, and two A&S 18As at E16. There are remnants of the Sierra Rotorcraft Association building some gyros (one at Funny Farm) and perhaps a few left from the apparently defunct PRA chapter 5 (formerly of Nut Tree / Vacaville)

Looks like lots of activity here.
I didnt relize there were that many 18A's flying around. Thanks
