Hi everybody,I am a volunteer at The HELICOPTER MUSEUM in England. We have an Agusta built Jetranger,ex Italian Caribinieri,CC49.We also have a sectioned main gearbox to display, part no.206-040-002-13 which looks like the gearbox onthe jetranger except that the main rotor shaft is 10 inches shorter. Can anyone explain the difference?

Could it have a mast for a 407 installed?

Thanks for your input,we dont have a 407 to compare unfortunately.Looking into overall heights, the 206 is 9ft 4in,the 407 is 11ft 8in and the early YOH-4 is 9ft 4in.I cannot find a part number on the mast without dismantling the gearbox. The mast stands 3ft 1in measured from the bottom of the gearbox casing,2in dia thread and 25 splines + one missing master spline.

You may have noticed my mistake, the YOH-4 height should read 8ft 10in.
