Scott
That kinda reminds me of the time I saw that DOT workers out on the highway here. They had shovels and were beating a poor box turtle to death on the pavement. I was -issed I asked them what they were doing and they said that the darn thing had followed them all day and they were tired of it.

HaHa, really , when you can't out run a box turtle, you need to be beaten with a shovel.
And Glen , I have eaten my own cooking for sometime. I am grateful for what ever God has provided me, but sometimes I betGod even has to laugh at what I prepare. Look at this way Glen. You could go to outback and have a prime rib with someone and spend $50 bucks, or you could scoop up that possum and buy a new tire for your gyro. The thought of that new tire ought to have you grinning like a dead pig in the sunshine. lol see you Saturday and I not cooking its safe to come you guys from Texas

That picture says it all. It definitely applies to the FAA out in Oklahoma City. They just don't give a crap! I have been trying for over 8 months to get across to those bone heads a paper trail from the original buyer of the RAF kit I purchased and the second buyer and then seller to me.I can't locate either of the two buyers, but RAF had liability letters that were signed by each owner. I forwarded them to the FAA with a bill of sale from the man I purchased the aircraft from. We'll call you back in a few days with our decision they say. That was weeks ago and when I call, Shirley is to busy to take the call, but they get the paper work from her desk from the big pile that must be on her desk. Yes , we'll have to get aproval on this paperwork, but it looks alright to me. Then it's "You need form so and so, or write a letter explaining exactly what you want".I would like to see that lady on the pavement with those stripes across her face. No, I take that back. My paperwork would just fall into the hands of another goverment worker and the agony of the process would start all over again.Has anyone heard of the paperwork reduction act?

That's what we do here at the airline, ALL the paperwork, and THEN do it again on the computer, somehow it saves something somewhere for someone, I guess.

The joke when I lived in Florida was:

Q: What's yellow and sleeps six?

A: A DOT truck.
