i want to ask something

why it is important for the Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) to ensure that all the ground equipment for the purpose of aircraft servicing are maintained according to the specified manual?

Have seen truly frightening GHWs in 300 & 500 the bearings having worn the alloy wheel best part of 1/8 Ins.
Will look at to see if there is maintenance regime have made bushes for wheel, have turned hubs & fitted bushes, locktite bush in wheel with bearing fit or stronger.
