When one engine fails on a twin-engine airplane you always have enough power left to get you to the scene of the crash.

Never fly in the same cockpit with someone braver than you

Airspeed, altitude and brains. Two are always needed to successfully complete the flight

It takes lots of self discipline to self instruct...those that lacked discipline self-destructed

Default old saying..

I've dealt with this: dealing with regulators is like wrestling with a pig in the mud. Frustration is setting in until you realize that the pig likes it!

Help everyone along with their day, and yours will be a better one also.

Its in the tag line.

You have 2 ears, 2 eyes and one mouth, its best to use them in that ratio.

Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself

Good judgment comes from experience and experience comes from bad judgment

I saw this somewhere on the forum a while ago, I use it, and well worth pointing out to new and wannabe pilots...

"If you teach yourself to fly you have a fool for an instructor"

If you teach yourself to fly rotors, you're doing your part to support the industry
