How come we can not registered in the ASRA forum?? i have registered 3-4 times but i never got a confirmation to join .. and still can not log in....

i would like to be reading the Australian forum as well as i do with the Russian and German sometimes (with the help of Google translator ).

It could have something to do with your email address, a while ago the webmaster listed a heap of different email servers as spam, because of a big hacking problem.
Try opening a hotmail address, they work for sure.

no good if you are one of the many millions worldwide with a google email account ie "@gmail.com" email address.

Doesn't work for yahoo either got the same message too. So tried with my email through my business address and that worked. Now I'm waiting for approval.

Graeme, I'd say that is hardly whining.... just a polite question and the whole thing is an indication that the site is poorly managed.

Most probably was a polite question, but has any of the people complaining of problems contacted the webmaster? Would not that be your first point of call?
If a site is setup to block Hot Mail, Yahoo and Google email addresses does that make it poorly managed, I still think you're a mob of whiners

Dunno mate ... except I can log onto nearly any other site in the world using a gmail address ... so I'm guessing there are other more effective ways to block spammers... but, if it works for everyone this way, then fair enough.
