Default I'm a Private Pilot!

Hey all! Finally completed my PPL in the Maule. Just wanted to pop in an day hello and pass the news up. I've been getting in some gyro time; most of the summer has been focused on the plane when the weather was good. Kim, Eva, and I took our first flight yesterday as a family. Enjoy some pics.

Great job Brian fom Bryan!!!

I guess you realize you can now legally fly ANY Experimental aircraft, regardless of what type! Helicopter, Blimp, Gyro, Airplane, Powered Lift, Baloon,...and any kind not yet even conceived.

Your RAF-2000 doesn't even have to meet LSA requirements any more, as long as you have a current medical.

Brian, congrats! I remember that feeling of accomplishment (except I was in a Champ).

...and as long as he's flying alone, daytime, etc. He'll have to upgrade to Private on the gyro side to fly with a passenger in a gyro over 1320 lb. But he could now legally fly the RAF solo at night. Go figure!
