Hi Tim
Good to be straight out on the questions, You are for sure a big dude, this means serious horsepower whether open tandem or or enclosed. Most likely minimum would be a Dominator with at least a "Viking" engine, then maybe a Genesis II with a Lycoming 0-320 or a Twin Starr with a Lycoming )-320. The Viking is about 110 hp and the 0-320 is 150 hp. With a tandem you would be able to train in your own machine (if you are in the USA), don't know what is approved in the UK Tony |

Timmer: I have a 2 place tandem gyro that will be getting the airworthiness inspection in two weeks. My gyro is not for sale (today), but I would be happy to show you the machine and discuss the modifications for someone our height and weight. I live in Clever, south of Springfield.
Let me know if you are interested. I may be taking it to Aurora (2H2) Sunday afternoon for some taxi work. By the way, I'm 6'5", 280 lbs.

One of our club members was 6 foot 300 lbs. and flew a 582 Air Command with no problems. He used 25 foot Skywheels.
