Beautiful video, as usual. The area where you fly is awesome.

Shawn loved the video. Great area, that windy downhill road by the airport look like the one where you shot the motorcycle video.

Your videos are always fun to watch.
What mount do you use to attach your phone to your cyclic?

Exclamation Small world: Shawn Adams gyro flying around the Ashland, OR area

Driving to Mentone, I stopped in a Wendy's in Pendleton, OR, for one of their nice cool salads on a hot day. Parked the little Toyota motorhome towing the trailer the gyro was on and went in to order. A man was there w/ his wife and daughter. He looked me right in the eye as I came in and commented that towing a gyro around and flying it whenever I wanted must be pretty nice.

Turns out they live in the Ashland, OR, area where Shawn Adams flies out of. He said Shawn hangars at the airport that this fellow keeps his LSA airplane at. He said that Shawn flies around the assorted hilltops in the area next to their ranch, hovering in the winds above those hillocks! He said that Shawn does some pretty amazing flying in his gyro...

What a great video. I like that you pan around. Your even able to take a shot of your self. That is really cool. Each time I watch a video , something I would like to see is what your machines looks like. I keep hoping that I will get a look at the gyro at the end, but that is somthing that nobody seems to do.
Thanks again for letting us come along with you for a great ride

Awesome video! You had two cameras? a head mount and a hand held! How good are they! crisp and steady! The use of wind over the hills, hovering with reduced power....ridge flying...... nearly as good as being there..
We dont get hot weather like that... you must get wicked thermals?
Thanks

I wonder who that guy is? I'm always worried that I may be bothering people and try to stay clear of their places, but its nice to hear good comments...

Thanks Kevin

Shawn: Didn't get his name, but he was fit (no potbelly), about 5'-10, had his wife alongside him, and a younger version of the wife that is about 15-16 yrs. old that is probably already breaking guy's hearts. He told me the name of his LS airplane, even having it on his baseball cap, but since I don't get too excited about airplanes, it went out of my ears faster than it went in.

Said they were coming back from some high school competition. Most likely a rally squad competition, since some gals were strutting their cheer leading skills in the parking lot when I drove in. When they saw it was just some old guy driving into the lot, they stopped their cavorting around...
