The XCOM VHF Transceiver was designed from the ground up for Sport Aircraft and offers superior performance under the demanding and noisy conditions experienced in many amateur built and light aircraft. It has very low power consumption yet manages to provide a full 6 watt carrier that guarantees you will be heard above the general clutter. The Dual Watch feature allows the pilot to listen to the standby frequency while still monitoring the primary frequency. The radio is really easy to operate even with gloves! Bought, but never used. In "as new" condition, mounted into an instrument panel but never connected. Stored indoors. Includes only what you see in the photo. You can make your own wiring harness or buy a pre-wired harness for your particular aircraft. This costs around $250 but it's well worth it. Retail price is $1400 Selling for $600 Last edited by Steven; 06-26-2012 at 05:51 AM. Reason: Lower the price |

That's a good price on a nice radio.
I installed one in my 140 recently and mounted it in the hole for the whisky compass since I was replacing it with a vertical card compass anyway. The Dual Watch is nice and lets me listen to AWOS and CTAF while inbound. And it has a real built-in VOX intercom, not a hot mic system.
