It would be a shame if this forum is used as a public anger forum for the recent "divorce" between AT and RC.

In the interests of balance you have two choices ( in no particular order )

a) Aviation Artur Trendak - continues to build "Xenon" at the original factory site - the gyro now renamed "Zen1" - see certificates from Polish CAA on the new web site - has delivered approx 8-10 gyros so far in 2012

http://autogyro.eu/

b) Celier Aviation - new production factory being set up in 2012, see new website

http://www.celieraviation.pl/

If you look at the dealers associated with both of these companies you will see a large degree of overlap at the moment - not sure how all this will pan out over time !

Two choices - enjoy

Steve

Thank You for providing the information.

That 2 former partners split is not my issue.

My issue is, who supports my parts and technical customer service needs.

I have no dog in this fight other than as a customer.

Mark

Competition is good and important - that created the market more consumer friendly.

Unfortunately, this situation is such that one partner is "tricked" the second and took over the company in an illegal manner and without accounting knowledge with anyone ...

Celier Aviation is not new - it is as long as Raphael Celier designs and manufactures equipment and exactly flying since 1993 look:

Original page www.celieraviation.eu is the same side that accompanied the CA for many years.

In my opinion the market will determine who in the future will want to buy, or from the designer - the new, ever more modern and better designs, or "dead" is not modernized machine from chicker.
In Celier Aviation engineers have been two of the best designers - Peter and Michael Skrzynski Stepnicki

and as for Arthur, a hard right but right - unfortunately, it requires time and money thrown away on lawyers ...

No one word about current situation in Celier Aviation: manufacturing, development, customer support etc

A bunch of bad mouth to former partner instead.

Not a good start for a forum newbee.

How many flying? - less than the number of Rotax 912 by a country mile that's for sure !

Why change from a tried and tested engine and tried and tested supplier - money I guess. The MW appears to have a few more horses but is it reliable, can you get spare parts, can you get it serviced easily.

MW Motors is a modern design - dedicated to aviation. Based on the robust R & D.
Short list of differences between Rotax and MW:
-1150 cc versus 2100 cc
-more torque
-electronic injection
-weight only 6 kg heavier than the Rotax
-bearings instead of bushings
-and more possibilites to gain more potential power than 150 HP...

Let's hope it works well and is reliable, then perhaps we'll finally have a competitor to Rotax and maybe prices will start to fall (I can always dream).
