I just wanted to post a quick Customer review about this fine Company.
This is my second experience dealing with Daryl at WD in Ventura, Iowa. My first time was for a similar situation as now, where I needed to have my prop reconditioned and balanced. This latest experience was having "restoration" work performed for a fellow Pilot <here in Panama> for his prop...(it was suffering from minor damage to the edges of the blades). My impression is that Daryl is always on top of the situation, communications are prompt, the work performed is always top notch...and most importantly...HE DOES WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO..! I would recommend to anyone that this is a Company you can have complete faith in...at all times. I can also attest to the high quality of the Prop's...these are nearly indestructible..! I've always been a VERY satisfied customer with the product and especially the SERVICE...! To Daryl...I tip my hat to you...and say "Thanks"...you run a great Company...!! M-M |

Mike,
I guess you really have a grudge! Seriously; does WD supply inertia specs with the props they sell? I agree, Warp Drives certainly has its share of the market...most likely due to a good product and good customer support. Let's hope they can continue to do so. and a bump... Enjoy Panama, and if you get a chance travel to Nicaragua and visit El Bluff off Bluefields; Excellent lobster. No problemo in a rotorcraft, but quite scary with a light north wind in a crowded and heavy twin Cessna. The runway was in a little better shape (than the pic) when I was there. Take Care, Chris |

Daryl is an excellent source. I was dissatisfied with my 582 60" WD performance. I called and explained my problem to Daryl. He could have sold me a 4-blade prop but advised against it. Instead he suggested that I change the C-box ratio to 2.62 from 3.0:1. Problem solved! BTW, Daryl knew all about the Dominator including that a 60" prop is the max it can swing. Impressive.
@Rehan - I see you are running the same as I am, right down to the pitch! Sweet, huh?

If Daryl was the gentleman I spoke to at the factory I was impressed with the help I got. Nice to hear the endorsement Mike.
Enjoy Panama and my regards to Fiveboy.

Thanks for the input guys.
I wanted to put the good word out there for the benefit of those not certain, just because I'm always impressed when I deal with the Co. and they deserve the "Kudos" for the great work they do. To Chris: Quote:
I DO fully intend to explore up that way (Nicaragua) in time. Also planning to check out Belize, and more of Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Columbia and Venezuela. To Leigh: I will be seeing "Fiveboy" tomorrow when we head out to the Airport...and will pass on the kind words. M-M. |

I got to test a sample Warp at a flyin in the early 90's. I was so impressed I ordered one (good marketing, WD!).
...and then another... and then another... A good product with customer-friendly service. |
