I believe it is the week of June 6.
I'm really excited because that will be my first American fly-in and I hope to meet a lot of people there as well as see some interesting gyros and assorted rotorcraft. -- Chris.

Is there an agenda or a schedule? When would be a good time to show up? I'm hoping to get an introductory flight at least.

Yes Rotror Over the Rockies will be held June 7th, 8th & 9th. You can get lots more information on it at the Utah Rotorcraft Association's website "utahrotorcraft.org". Then click on the link titled "Rotors Over the Rockies" and it will take you to a page full of information on the Fly In for this year.
The Fly In officially starts on Thrusday morning and will officially end on Saturday night with the Banquet but I am sure there will be people there earlier in the week. It is being held at the Brigham City Airport whcih is a public airport that anyone is welcome to fly from at anytime. I will personally be out there by Weds afternoon and I suspect others will beat me there. And anyone that wants to stay and fly on Sunday is welcome to. We do not have the forum schedule completed yet but we will get more details out there as they become available. I can tell you that Jim Fields is planning to be there with his Honey Bee G2 Trainer and will be giving intorductory rides for anyone that wants to check out his new machine. I believe he is already scheduling rides now so you may want to contact him in advance and make sure you have a spot reserved on his flight schedule as those kind of things tend to fill up quickly if you wait until the event and then try to line something up. We also will have 2 Gyro CFIs there with machines that are planning to be doing training while there (Mike Burton and Desmond Butts) and the same goes if you want to get training with them or if you are a licensed fixed wing pilot and you want to get your sport pilot rotorcraft rating by gettin two CFIs to sign you off. This is realy going to be a great event. I am getting exctied already. Doug Barker Utah Rotorcraft Assoc.

I am excited to hear that you will be here this year! (and your little pup too!) (although I suspect he is no longer a pup, my how time flies) You have been missed my friend and it will be good to see you again. You will be pleased to see what this is growing into.

John,
Yes, you need to reserve time with anyone you want to fly with at the Event. If you wait until the Event to try to line it up, it could easily just not happen. I would reserve a time slot with Desmond and Jim too if you are able to. What a great opportunity to be able to fly with three different pilots and machines and be able to compare the differences between them and what you like better.
