Default Dominator brakes??

Where is the best place to get replacement band brakes for the dominator?
No cheap chinese rubber brake lining, the good asbestos type brake bands.
Thanks!

Scott,

Gary Weaver found a local source for Trell's Dominator. They seem to be working pretty well and are NOT the rubber type. If you like, I'll either get Gary to call you or find the source and get back to you.

It was a local go-kart shop, if memory serves. That leads me to believe they are readily available if you need one in a hurry.

The Northern Tool here only sells the rubber brakes. They don't work well at all on a gyro.

OK...yeah.. Northern Tool has the hard brake lining type online...but you have to make sure you aren't getting the rubber ones...they have have more vacuum than the entire universe (translation: they really, really suck) for use on a Dominator.
