Yes but ... if you're reasonable close to CLT, the pitching moment is relatively small and requires little or no correction. If the thrust offset does cause any nose down, The altered inflow to the prop causes a downward deflection of prop wash against the top of the HS and balances the pitching moment.
Altered prop inflow hitting the HS is something I never thought about Pete. Like Vance, I wanted to trim the airframe level in cruise. I decided to add a large trim tab within the HS tailing edge. Hmm….with CLT, perhaps that isn't necessary after all. I sure like experienced minds....
