Insurance Webinar Saturday 3/10

This Saturday, immediately following the 10am MST online meeting of PRA Chapter 2, the third and final installment of this year's URA Winter Webinar Series will feature Rick Lindsey, CEO of Prime Insurance, with a presentation on insurance issues facing experimental aircraft, including rotorcraft. Rick is also a helicopter pilot who spoke to us on insurance at Rotors Over The Rockies a few years ago, and he has an interesting perspective on holding down costs in difficult markets.

Rick will accept questions by text following his presentation, and you can participate from any computer with an up-to-date version of Java installed. Instructions, including how to test your computer ahead of time to see if it's ready, can be found on page 1 of this month's Western Rotorcraft:

This was an excellent presentation that everyone ought to watch. Insurance is available for pretty much any Experimental Rotorcraft (Helicopter or Gyroplane) and at rates that are relatively reasonable. If you don't know about this yet, you need to call Rick and talk to him about your needs. This is cool!!!!

Wow. Rick addressed some very specific experimental rotorcraft issues, including an affordable solution for those being required to buy a million dollars in liability insurance to remain in their hangar leases.
