BTW, there was a gentleman in East Germany who also tried to build and fly a gyro hang glider. His name was Stephan Nitsch. Some years ago I had a brief communication with him about his glider. He told his gyro never wanted to fly since he didn't understood correctly how a 3-blade rotor works. He died in 2008 but somebody still holds his homepage.
As I could understand this gyro is now in Otto Lilienthal Museum in Anklam.
