I don't want to risk a failure because I can't find the right materials. The KB2 plans say to use 2024-T4 on the axle clamps. Will 2024-T3 work instead? Which is stronger?
Thanks, Tim |

Tim,
T3 is slightly stronger than T4. T3 yield 42,000 psi, T4 yield 40,000 psi T3 tensile 63,000 psi, T4 tensile 62,000 psi Larry |

Tim, T-3 will be fine for the axle blocks on the KB or Bensen

Thanks guys! I ended up getting T351. I expect it to work just fine.
