I have heard that there is at least one in Keystone Heights and a friend of mine told me a professor at UF has one at the Gainesville airport. Gyro-Kopp-ters is in Lake City (about 60 miles north of Gainesville and only about 35 miles from Flying Tigers Airport, so I thought there may be a few of those in the local area. Jacksonville is a big town and should have a few, but I'm just guessing. It would be nice to use the local fly-in to promote gyrocopters. I'm sure it would generate interest. And, as I understand it, the tower likes a nice flyby from interesting aircraft. How cool is that!
