Default How do you cut the notch in the tailboom?

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how I'm going to cut that notch in the tailboom, the best I can figure right now is cut a V out inside the area to be notched, then file away the excess. I realize it would take a while but thats how a "cheap yankee swamp rat" like me (and others) would think to do it. any suggestions?
