Default Fuels & Lubes

It isn't unusual for a discussion about fuels & lubes to take place here and I happened to come across this site http://www.generalaviationnews.com/e...r=Ben%20Visser that has an old acquaintance as a columnist. His name is Ben Visser and at one time had the best job in the Shell Oil Company! Well, may be not; Gary Hunter, the Glue Guru, who also worked for Shell as their answer man on composites had a pretty good one also.

Ben traveled around the country visiting universities to discuss aviation oil/lube related projects and then was paid to attend Oshkosh and other major fly-ins. He always broke out in a large grin when he explained how tough his job was!

Ben worked in the fuels & lubes section of Shell's R&D facility here in Houston and consequently is easily recognized as an expert in these areas. On this web site, Ben takes and answers questions about fuels & lubes. You may find it of interest.
