Default Bensen, Subaru, Trailer & Blades

For Sale! I just bought this gyro and had planned to keep it and fly it a while. But as you might see in another thread, I just got back home from Florida where I bought a dominator gyro that is 50-75 percent finished and I am going to try my best to complete the gyro and make a keeper out of it. So.... I need to sell the Bensen to raise the funds needed to finish the Dominator.

The Bensen is nice, It has a all flying tail with horizontal stab in the middle of the propwash. It also has a large keel mounted rock guard stab. It has a EA-81 Subaru engine with Tenn 52x26 inch prop. the engine is best running and easiest starting Soob I have ever delt with. The selt tank holds 8 or so gallons, the controls are very beefy in contruction, there is all the basic instruments you need. And the pre rotator is a geared electric starter motor hanging on the rear of the rotorhead so as not to need much trim spring pull. Nice Hegar aluminum wheels with good tires, Brakes on the front wheel.

The blades are 23 foot by 8 inch Red Skywheels. Blades are in great shape. Very smooth too. I also have a blade box that goes with the gyro for these blades. Box is very heavy duty compared to the usual plywood shipping boxes.

Then there is the trailer which is nothing real fancy - it is a converted pop up tent camper trailer frame - but it is light and large enough to haul most any single place and some two place gyros. It has fold down ramps, and a large plastic truck style tool box on the front to store gear, the spare tires, etc.... There is a winch up front that helps pull the gyro up onto the trailer, and there is blade supports to hold the blades on the gyro if you want to trailer it that way - or take them off and put them in the box - All the lights work and the tires and bearings look to be in very good shape. It uses a 2 inch ball to tow it.

I would like to get 4500$ for the whole package. Can't beat this with a bat. This is a flying gyro and worth more in just parts than what I want. I got a long list I am putting together to finish the dominator and I need the cash. I will take pictures of it in a day or two if anyone is interested.
