Default DVD gyrocopter adventure in South Africa, Botsuana, Namibia available

Hi Rotorheads,

Mel and I have recently finished our DVD "Weltflug in Africa".

During our round the world trip we participated at
the South Africa gyroplane safari. We flew through the magic
landscapes of the Okavango Delta, the Kalahari desert and
the Namib desert.

The DVD is produced in Full HD (blue ray on request),
60 minutes, PAL, English & German, 16:9.

With the sales of this DVD we support the children charity
terre des hommes who is engaged to provide education and
shelter for children mainly in Africa, India, Thailand and
South America.

You can order your DVD here:

Take care,

Andy & Mel

Is PAL a format that our machines here in the US can play? I've heard of that before but I am not sure what it means or if it is something that I could view. It sure looks like it would be a great video.

Pal is the European video format. NTSC would be the American equivalent. Some DVD players will play both formats, but that would be something you'd have to verify with your own particular DVD player. My guess is that you'll need the video converted to NTSC for proper viewing in the USA. I think if your player doesn't support PAL, it won't even play the DVD.

I thought PAL and NTSC were only relevant in the analog world. If it's full HD, is it really PAL?

Default Any laptop DVD drive will play PAL too - Blu Ray coming

Hi guys,

any laptop computer DVD drive should play PAL too.

We are currently preparing Blu Ray but since we are
currently touring through South America it may take
a couple of months.

Take care,

Andy & Mel
