WW2 Japanese Gyro

I believe the gyro in questin is a Kellett the Japanese bought or secured teh rights to produce before the war started... I may be wrong though.
 
It looks like the link I posted is just a short version of the one Passin' Thru listed. All in all, I thought is was interesting. I didn't know the Japanese worked on gyros. I remember seeing the info of the gyroglider pulled behind German submarines.

yea, i believe the gyropglider was the basis for the first bensons, wasn't it? Or at least the inspiration. On a side not, the pilot of the gyroglider was supposeed to be one of the most dangerous jobs in the kriegsmarine.
