The BunnyHugger II

Well NOOOO

Well NOOOO

Larry,

Gary Buster had the Mad MaxII easter egg with both a tall tail and a horizontal stab. He always like the stability.

Has anyone put your stab on a Sparrowhawk or AAI modified RAF?

Y should we,, They fly fine without all the Xtra stuff
Gary puts them in Cruse control and goes to sleep.. YA !!

Still nothing on the paint so I'm working on sub assembles.
The new rod ends came Friday. Saturday Kathy and I went over and I put them on.
Today I assembled the trim control box.

For now I'm using what has came with the kit. I never had any trouble with the first so we'll see. When I do replace them I'll probably upgrade the cables. Right now I'm sitting here at home hoping the storms over @ Zephryhills and Wachula aren't bad.

Well I couldn't pick up the gantry today so I got some work done.
Blted the rudder peddle pan to the floor and tightened the rudder cables. I flipped the rudder horns over like the last time and moved the pan back so my feet reach the peddles the way I like. (Dofin can't understand.)
THEN I drilled and mounted the brackets for the brake cable and mounted the break peddle. Yes the peddle I cut the right one off as it gets in Kathy's way and I'm going to have a hand brake soooooo.
Here they are.

Thanks Larry. Good to see you also.
Got all my radios and antena's, only high ticket item left is the second ignition system. Will be ordering that soon, they weren't at the show.

Tony- That sure looks sharp..... I love that color. If that were mine...I would be talkin to DeWalt and seeing if they wanted to advertise in the rotorcraft world. Just some DeWalt decals and its good to go!

Keep up the good work and I will look forward to seeing it come together.

I never though about that Stan. It does follow the colors of the Bell47 in the old Whirlybirds Series back in the 50's and 60's. Since that was my favorite show on TV it fits nicely. Plus it makes me stand out in the air.

Well no pics from the hangar today. This was one of those days that you work for hours and then look back and ask "What did I get done"?
How ever I got home and found that Aircraft Spruce elves sent my radios. I got a whole package, Transponder, Com, heads, and wire harness. Saved a few bucks doing it like that. Plus the Microair transponder was way cheaper than I thought. And we got 150 off the headsets. Here they are.

Well between yesterday and today I got the brakes hooked up, the trim box mounted and the cables lead out of the cabin and worked on the instrument panel.
Here's what I did.
