V-280 Tilt Rotor Fuselage

OH YEAH !!! ask all the neighborhood girls ... they are GLAD your not 19 anymore haaa . They thank their lucky stars.

As for me , I could care less how old you are , what do you want ? Permission ? Fine !! I will spell it out for you ... HELL YES ... even twenty.ate.you.long.ago.guys should be given a shot at flying it. A big shot in the arm , kerosene , Adrenalin , testosterone , and just a pinch of viagra

Hey Fly Army ... I dont know about you but I loved the original V22 concept , it overcame STUFF that slowed helicopters down , looked cool and menacing and looked "JUST RIGHT"

Then 60 minutes did a scary documentary way back then ... now they are nearly dead , put the needle gently in their arm , then hit the plunger with a sledge hammer haaaa ... the V22 lives on !!! Sorry for using technical words like STUFF

As I've said before, I think a pretty good business model could be built around a Bell 609 rooftop to rooftop shuttle service bypassing airports and TSA hassle.

I think Bell pulled out of the project - no longer BA609 but AW609.

It would be good to see more tilt rotors out there - last night I had KNIFE 76 pass nearby a CV22 from SOW.

Oh yes AW has made quite a few Bell products under license.

True AW have built many helicopters types under licence - for the "609" AW bought Bell out - it is not being built "under licence" - Bell are now a parts supplier of some components.

""The long-troubled partnership between AW and Bell to develop the 609 officially ended in November with AW assuming the assets of the Bell Agusta Aerospace Co., the joint venture formed to develop the aircraft. While details of the deal remain undisclosed, it is widely believed that it involved little or no cash trading hands, with AW getting it for its past program investment and the promise that Bell would provide drive train and rotor components going forward.

AW announced that it would form a new U.S.-based entity to complete certification in 2015 or 2016. Development work will be based at AW in Cascina Costa, Italy, where a third and fourth prototype will be constructed. ""

KNIFE ( tilt CV22 ) and STRIX ( MC130 tanker ) were up again playing last night
