Time to sharpen the blades on the mower (Sodzilla--Turfasaurus Rex)....time for new ones actually, but I should get the rest of the season out of these. One lawn mower= 10 blades
I'd better get busy so I don't waste the whole evening! :)

Put a little pitch in those blades and you'll have a hover craft!

Nothing like a good old bench grinder to sharpen those blades :)

Scott,

A file gives the best edge on mower blades, and I'm sure you want to have the best cut possible...

:)

That's right Mike, I'm sittin' here just like "Carl" in the movie "slingblade" Uh huh awright then.

I settled for a DeWalt electric 90 grinder. :)

It is a Ransomes AR 250, 4 wheel drive hydrostatic, with Kubota 38 hp diesel.
96" cut. I don't think I could ever go back to a craftsman 32" rider. :)

Wow thats quite a lawn beast, you don't cut corners when it comes to top of the line toys scott! I thought of starting a lawn business before but it seems like the competition is always to high :)

Jeff, I cut the runway today 2200ft by 150ft wide 1.7 hours.
If I didn't have this beast (Sodzilla) I'd still be cutting grass!

Just wish the gyro was back up and running so I could use the fresh cut runway.

Man Scott.... I knew you had a grass eating machine..but that is one beast. I thought I was mowing up in the world when I bought my 50 inch last year.

It cut my mowing time in half over my slow 48 inch regular tractor.

But that machine of yours is about 500 hungry holsteins on crack!

If you ask me......I think Scott's tryin' to "over compensate" for something with that mower!

My mower isn't that big......he's about 6'1" and weighs about 140#. (although I'll bet my mower is much more expensive!) Only has one speed too!

over compensate? I thought we all had small weenies? the man to die with the most toys wins? right? uh oh!:tape:

Ron, my brother made a gang mower like that. :)

Barry, I am over compensating for having lots of grass :)
I just believe in having the proper tools for the job. :D
I had to retire the "Forrest Gump" mower.
