Great words of advice
 

Getting low on Fuel the other day got me thinking, how much shall I put in ? Then I remembered the phrase
"The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire"
I then recalled a few other words of wisdom
"Runway behind you is useless" "Sky above you is useless"
"better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than in the air wishing you were on the ground"

any more spring to mind ?

shall I fly today ?
"If there is any doubt, then there is no doubt"

Never argue with an idiot. They'll always bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I always hated this one. If she's a bitch why would anyone marry her? It's when she is a bitch then you divorce her.

OK just got it, I divorce her and the new husband gets the bitch. Jokes on him.

This is something I've always thought when it comes to resources, whether they be fuel, a flashlight, a chart, a copilot—or in more serious cases—a gun or a condom:

"Better to have and not need than need and not have."

"Low and slow is a quick way to get killed"....(stay out of the HV curve)
"You ain't done flying till the rotor stops turning"...(most accidents are taxiing or close to ground accidents)
"It's better to look like an idiot for running low on fuel and landing at a gas station, then to PROVE it by flying past the gas station and not making it to your destination" (obvious)

Taking off is Optional............Landing is Compulsory

Mr. Gregory replied "Crap! Fill it up!!!!!" "I'd hate to know we died because some fat lady lied about her weight!"
