Need some info on a gyro
I have a chance to buy a gyro but the present owner knows little about it. It needs a bit of work but seems well built. I ran the N numbers and it was built by Jack O Dobbs in Arizona in 1994 and that is when it got its certificate. IOf anybody knows the gryo or Mr. Dobbs that would be great. I couldn't find him going thru the PRA site. Also the present owner thinks the gyro did pretty well in flyins and the like in Arizona and got a few ribbons.
I truly would appreciate any information that anyone can give me. Thanks Joe |
If you have some pictures, post them, maybe someone will recognize it.

I am still working on this. Present owner is still looking for the logbooks and such that came with the gryo. He did find some Gryobee documentation and thinks it may have started out that way. Thnaks

Hello Joe
Congrats. Looks like a good flier. Get all the log books and all the training and info how to do it. Definitely great workman ship. Mr Dobbs did some good work on this gyro. Some one on this forum will remember this one. Give it a respectable name, gyrobee wont do justice. Close to CLT and excellent tail. Wish you the Best. Rehan |
Thanks thats very encouraging. Its FAA registration list it as JH3. I like that it is close to CLT too.
