Plan for coming to the Valkaria Airfest on February the 18th. Gyrocopters, Powered Paragliders & Parachutes, Cars, Motorcyles, Remote Control Aircraft, Gliders, Sail Planes, Airboat DRAG RACES! and much more.It really is a great fly in so make your plans to attend if you can. Let's show up as many as can so we would spread a bit of the word about the gyro sport and community. :) X59 http://valkariaairfest.org/

takn from my rv last week leaving sebastian at lopresti event. where were you? great turnout. great food.

Unless something stops us, Brooke, Dave Hopkins & I will be trailering over early
Saturday. Mike, don't forget my offer to help out on Saturday if you need anything. And I think Trez and Joe Nappier will also come sans gyros.

Packing now. Concerned about the weather with iso t-storms. A factor or is it usually an afternoon shower, brief?

30% chance of rain 60% of cloud coverage (it is nice we won't burn!!!) wind 8KTS from the south temp 81/59 dew...............looks good to me :)

My wife and I will be driving over on Friday night and staying in a hotel in Palm Bay so we can be there early on Sat. Hope to meet some of you guys then.

Gentlemen & Gabor:
The forecast for Saturday is improving.
20% chance of rain Saturday and 30% for Sunday. Cloudy.
Which should make for a nice outing day.
Somebody collar Davey and insist that he comes.
Time to show off his new toy.

Love ya :)

Gentlewhore. There, it's kind of mixed in there.

Seeing the weather forcast improve. Feelings improving!

Steve Jones, glad you and your wife are making the trip to our airfield.
Call me when you arrive, 321-795-0122, and we will show you around.
Brian Willis, you know the layout, call me when get here, we will help
you unload, and set-up.
Unfortunately, the Wauchula gang has bailed out this year, due to the
weather forecast. There will be a bunch of leftovers at our house now!

Brian:
Your wife is more than welcome to come to my place for a shower.
You ... not so much!
:yo:

Absolutely beautiful weather today at X59, boys and girls.
Just enough cloud cover to keep it from being too hot.
Good flying weather, too.
I was up and down 3 times before 9:00!
If you aren't here tomorrow, you're missing out.
:boink:

Glad it's nice over there.
The weather was terrible on this side of FL today. I had to miss my flying lesson :violin:

Mike, thanks for the contact number. I'll call as soon as we get to the field tomorrow. I look forward to meeting you guys... even Gabor :noidea:

We're hitting the road as soon as I can log off work. Oh shoot, my laptop just rebooted. Guess I'll just have to logoff now. :lie:

Brian - were you doing an outside loop when this photo was shot?
I'm getting vertigo!

We are on our way!

Sorry guys. Davie wasn't coming anyway "just got it together and need to stay here for a while". Brooke is fighting a flu. I'm not traveling alone and am still wary of Sunday's weather.

I hope it's a great weekend for you.
