- The more I experience helicopter flight, the more I love it. I am obsessed with the 3rd dimension of flight without airspeed that only a helicopter can provide. The ability to being able to land and take off from places I could only fly over before is similar to driving down an interstate, seeing something you want to stop and look at, then using air to build your own personal off ramp to it. These are the core reasons I love flying my helicopter. The extra freedom of not having to maintain 500 ft of clearance is also another benefit I enjoy as I can fly much more unrestricted.
