I was just reading an old Subaru thread (

I've come to value your extensive experience and base of knowledge, hence my writing now.
Question: I've got 3) EA-82's...2) with redrives...planning on having the cams reground by Delta to get the max out em' at 5400 rpm.
I don't have alot of extra cash at this time...what else might you be able to recommend. Got a friend who said he can help with cleaning up the ports...would you make any changes to valve size or just stay stock.
I'll be running Carbs...can get Pic's so you can see what I've got.
No hurry...got plenty of time to get my project together...was thinking about giving heads royal treatment.. but loath dropping the quoted 1200+ to do so.
