Todd
Is it possible to know how many from each state?
Also, when is the next Funds Drive or do you have any other projects in mind?
thanks

I know how many in my State.

It would be interesting to know, which state has the most Gyroheads.

It could be the water or just the air.

Anyway thats a good thought.

Thank you.

There are some new possibilities with Google Maps. The problem we have is people list their locations such as: Fort Smith

Personally, I have no idea where Fort Smith is, I'm sure they do, but I don't. Trying to create a list from bad information could be very difficult. When I find some time I will try working on some type of location, mapping database of our membership.

As for fundraising drive, I'll start a push early next year, probably February or March. I don't have any big projects planned for next year. We skipped this year for t-shirts, so probably get more t-shirts made. I also want to get some bumper stickers made. Probably push for a more visible presence at all the major fly-ins.

Might even host one here in the Northwest since our closest event is currently El Mirage - A mere 1300 + miles from here. Maybe the first annual Northwest Rotary Wing Fly-In.

Lots of ideas, just not enough time.

Hello Todd.

Thats lots of good ideas but not enough time.

I can get you Bumper stickers and key rings. These are real cheap out here and the shipping is reasonable too.

All I will need is the pattern you intend to have for the stickers and the key rings. T shirts are cheap too but the shipping might be a bit more, because of the volume of the package.

I m open on this, please let me know, on the thread or PM or e.mail.

Regards........Rehan

I will try to pick the Floridians and make a spread sheet, I need to look at the overall pic here.
How about a drive for free rides and distribute them around to new people to experience giros?
I gave about 5 so far on the Golden, 3 on my own interest 'cause I needed the input from some pilots.
thanks

Todd, how would you like us to list our addresses? For the norteamericanos, city and state or province, like Boston, MA, or Montreal, QC?

Europe has a standardized system but many don't use it. Probably because it was a German idea and everybody seems to enjoy disobeying the Germans.

Then there's the down-under guys and our lonely Pakistan correspondent. There are 200 countries on earth, and sooner or later someone's going to fly a gyro in all 200.

cheers

FIFA has 212 happy participants! U.N. is envious . . . :)
I could not find a way to pick all the state our members are from . . . maybe I still have to learn all the tricks of our forum.
thanks

Heron,

If you are inclined to see how many forum members are in each state in the US, it can be done using the poll feature of the forum. The maximum number of poll options is 10. So 5 or 6 questions questions broken down by geographic regions would work.
Regions

North East
Maine
Mass
RI
Vermont
Conn
NY
NJ
PA
Del

Central East/SE
Virginnia
BG W VA
DC
MD
NC
SC
GA
FL

etc

The PRA membership issue had members listed by address and broken down into states.
