It maybe an illusion but the stab angle in the photo just doesn't look quite right.....even with an airfoil.

I think might have been a test I was conducting with offset stab AoA to compensate for torque roll. Hybrid was almost CLT.
Found a few more pics, one with the differential stab setting.

Have you come to the final form on the stab? or are you still testing?

We have a final design for Firebird. Will be mounting them during the next week or so.
Nothing as radical as the Hybrid ones.

I'm thinking of using a geared redrive on my RAF 2000. It spins opposite the crank. I see you changed your vertical fin. Did you put in some ofset in it, or just inline with keel ? Did you make ityour self and do you have plans or drawings
What is the gear ratio on your redrive ?

Hi Brian, we offset the fin opposite to the Raf fin, and made the fin and rudder 30% larger to remove the Raf yaw instability with the doors on.
No I did not make it myself and there are no plans for it.
We used a 2.24 to 1 ratio on the Raf with the 68" prop. Firebird can use a 76" prop so we use Neil in NZ Autoflite redrive with the 2.47 to 1 ratio.
