Very cool!
You can put the chart up, draw out a course around the airspace based on your restrictions, then remove the sectional and see what landmarks to look for along the path.
:whoo:
Thanks Chuck!

I downloaded the sectionals and they imported into Google Earth but I don't see how to bring them up on the map. I don't see any cockpit icons like the instructions say. Anyone have any suggestions?

I didn't see the cockpit icons either; I just put a checkmark in the box on the left and started zooming in and the chart appeared.
There were checkmarks in all the chart ID boxes.

Just my luck.
I installed Google Earth but there is an out-of-focus band right across my town.
Does anyone know, is this because I got the free version and do I need to get the $20 a year version to get everything in focus?
Thanks
Gordon Gibson.

Gordon,
It downloads the photos from online when you viewing the map. I had a section that was out of focus and the next time I went to look at it it looked clear. Try again.

I think every version is blurry in some areas. I was told its for national security reasons.

Yeah I guess.
Trouble is half of my town is pretty much crystal clear (this is the half with the al queda training camp in it) and the other bit where I live is blurry.
Take care
