Welcome to Mark Dimond, our 500th member of the Rotary Wing Forum. I've been watching for that last few days and knew our 500th member would sign up shortly. Here's the Irony.
Last Saturday I was driving home from the airfield when I came up behind this little pickup. After following for a couple miles I notice the guy has a PRA sticker in the back window. I personally can't recall ever seeing a vehicle in Spokane with a PRA sticker so I follow him for awhile. It just happened that his route didn't take me too much off track from the direction I was going, but I'm sure by the time he finally stopped, he was a little concerned about the stalker following him. Anyway I hop out of my car and introduce myself and ask about the sticker. It turns out Mark used to own a KB-2 which he flew for about 35 hours then sold when he got serious about getting his commercial helicopter rating. We talked gyros a bit and I gave him a couple business cards from the forum and asked him to check it out.
As it turns out, our 500th member turns out to be my most heavily recruited prospect whom I chased all over town. :)
