help!!! looking for a scale to do a thrust test with??anyone know where to get one at that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. thanks ben

A 300# scale will work fine for up to 600# of pull. Take a 10" piece of steel and drill holes 1" from each end (8" apart) and one in the center (4" between each of the 3 holes). Then attach a rope or chain to one end hole attached to a tree, the scale in the other end hole also attached to the tree, then attach the gyro to the center hole.

When the gyro pulls 400# the scale will show 200# (one half). Gyro pull 500#, scale will read 250#.
