1999 model, Rotax 582 powered. 23 foot Dragon Wings. Eis instruments, Pod with windshield. Hydro pre-rotator, Ora cook seat tank.

would like to get somewhere around 11,500$ for it along with a real nice 6x12 trailer to haul it around on - will sell for 500$ less without trailer - and I have a blade box, and many many spare parts for the engine and gyro.

I will consider taking a less expensive gyro and cash for it, as long as the trade gyro is or can be made safe and airworthy.

email for pics.

Why in the world would you consider trading that beautiful Dominator for another, less expensive gyro? I really wish I was in the position to make you a reasonable offer for it.

Kevin King
Chalres Town, WV

Well Ron...is it sold?

I'm pretty sure if I ever sell another aircraft it will be worth my while to haul back to you. I've never known anyone that found buyers faster than you. ;D

Yes it is now sold. I had no interest in it until about a week and a half ago then ended up with three different people all wanting to buy it and willing to pay my asking price. I sold it to the first person who sent me a deposit.

He is fairly close to me and that makes it easier to deliver. He doesn't want me to mention his name though for some reason. but he does post on the other forum.

Yes I seem to find a buyer pretty quick when I sell stuff. But I know the price sells and I always price to sell. this guy got the gyro ready to fly but with no radio or helmet or extras for 10,500$ That is a deal.

Good deal for him, too bad for you. :(

I hope you have something else in the works soon.

I got a few machines in the works. It won;t be a dominator though sadly..... :-[

I got to use some of the money for bills and some to buy a new machine. Right now I am picking through the offerings in my price point. Direct drive Soobs, Mac attacks, KB-3's, etc.... Back to where I started in rotorcraft.

Thats okay. In due time I hope to turn things around and maybe get my BFI and a Tandem ultralight Dominator or maybe Aircommand. We will see.........

Ron,

You ought to get moving and work on your BFI. Buy Maxie's A/C for a song. Stick an EJ-22 on it and for less than 15K have an excellent training machine. I know, still more money but actually a source of income now plus fully tax deductible. If I were a couple more years into it, I would probably be falling over myself to pick up that machine. Its a great deal. However I think they're underpowered with the Hirth, at least with mine and Maxie's fat asses on board. The EJ-22, something like Jamie's Mad Max had would really make it hum. It would be a great trainer.
Todd,

If you put an EJ-22 on Maxie's airframe you would have to be a CFI in order to train in it. It would be far over the weight limit for a BFI Trainer.

Jamie

Jamie beat me to it. So now tyou take Maxie's machine and you are more or less forced to use the Hirth engines. 10 grand! :o

The other big reason to maybe wait is from everything I have seen, When Sport pilot becomes real, the current BFI's will have to switch to sport pilot instructors and they very likely will have to buy a sport pilot traing machine. The older machines may not be included.

The older machines that were built by the factory will be grandfathered in, if the company who build the machine is building a sport pilot machine. I don't know if any of the gyro manufacturers will want to go through the hassle of meeting the requirements to build for sport pilot.

Jamie

Jamie beat me to it. That is why I think it is smart to wait and see for now.
