I had such a good experience with this vendor I thought I should post about it.

Philip Correll makes full-faced helmets with communications gear for either Comtronics radios/intercoms or GA.

I contacted him about haveing a helmet made for Connie and it was a very good experience.

He sent me a sizing chart and sent us a wonderful helmet that fit perfect and looked very good.

When we discovered by intercom had a problem with the type of mike he switched out the mike for free and even paid for priority shipping.

His helmets are about $250 and this is the second time I have ordered from him. My first helmet I sold along with my Air Command gyro.

He can be contacted at 828-692-2118 or lgcpkc@bellsouth.net

Can you post a picture of one of his helmets? I'm going to be needing one at some point, and I'd like to have a full face helmet if I can find one.

Here is what I have and a graphics version.

Guys, I have 3 of his helmets and I like them. I had them at Mentone this year

I don't like full face helmets for flying. Heck I don't like them too much for even riding motorcycles either. They restrict your vision too much in my opinion. They might be great for a passenger, but I wouldn't wear one.

Yes Ron, they do restrict your vision. But on the otherhand they do sop alot of wind and engine noise. Which is why I wear them

Tim,

Is Connie checking out potential emergency landing sites for you in the picture? I love how she's comfortable enough to lean on the fuselage side and look straight down!

I'd probably get vertigo if I leaned over and did that.

Ha!

No she just loves to watch the scenery below. Almost makes me glad it is not a side x side gyro as that might be unnerving to me.

That is a good caption. I might have to steal that for one of my photo submissions! ;)
