Ok so what can you do with a used comtronics helmet, a glare shield fron Ebay, a couple of hours and some spray paint?
Works like a champ!:D

That was just a rattle can, I didn't feel like breaking out the air brush and creating a masterpiece, but it came out better than I thought.

You can find Gentex flight helmet parts on ebay all the time. The SPH-4B visors should work pretty well.

I got the leather mic muff at aircraft spruce.
and a bonus: with the visor down my helmet doesn't have as much air turbulance as it used to. It used to try to rip off my head at over 70 mph!
works good now, still doesn't keep the bugs out of your teeth, but it keeps 'em out of your eyes!
